DC's residential Korean-American population is smaller than the surrounding suburbs, but the community is distinct — concentrated in young professionals, government and policy workers, law firm associates, and Korean Embassy-adjacent households. KCPC(Korean Central Presbyterian Church) launched a DC Campus in Arlington in January 2021, specifically to serve young Korean-American professionals who didn't want to commute to Centreville.
The DC Korean community is also a significant landing zone for Korean nationals on work assignments at Korean corporate US offices, Korean government postings, and Korean-owned DC-area firms. For these households, the planning challenge sits at the intersection of two countries' tax systems.
Every conversation can happen in Korean, English, or both. Meetings, documents, and ongoing communication adapt to the client — not the other way around.
We are a Registered Investment Advisor with a fiduciary obligation to our clients. No product sales, no hidden commissions.
We don't run a standard portfolio for every client. If your situation involves a pending RSU vest, a Korean inheritance, a practice buy-in, or a planned business sale — that goes at the center of your plan, not the footnote.
Clients grow. We grow with them. When a client's needs expand past IPM's scope, we coordinate with our family office affiliate, Wealthy & Wise Family Office.

If you're early in your career and looking for lower-cost investment management, Invested Advisory may be the right first step. If you're managing dual-country complexity or have grown past the basics, IPM is built for you.
Take our 2-minute qualifierThe first conversation is free and no-commitment. Tell us where you are and what you're trying to build — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
