Rockville's Korean-American community took root in the 1980s and 1990s, anchored by the opening of the first Lotte Plaza Market on Rockville Pike in 1989. What started as a single grocery store grew into a chain across the DMV — but Rockville remained home.
The Korean Presbyterian Church of Rockville (KPCR) runs one of the largest Korean weekend schools in Montgomery County, teaching Korean language and culture to a new generation of Korean-American children. Families in Rockville, Bethesda, and Potomac send their children to KPCR Korean School on Saturdays and to Montgomery County's top-ranked public schools on weekdays.
Rockville is also where an unusually dense concentration of Korean-American physicians, researchers, and federal professionals live and work. The FDA's White Oak campus and the NIH just south in Bethesda employ thousands of scientific professionals, and a disproportionate share of the Korean-American members of that community have settled in Rockville.
Every conversation can happen in Korean, English, or both. Meetings, documents, and ongoing communication adapt to the client — not the other way around.
We are a Registered Investment Advisor with a fiduciary obligation to our clients. No product sales, no hidden commissions.
We don't run a standard portfolio for every client. If your situation involves a pending RSU vest, a Korean inheritance, a practice buy-in, or a planned business sale — that goes at the center of your plan, not the footnote.
Clients grow. We grow with them. When a client's needs expand past IPM's scope, we coordinate with our family office affiliate, Wealthy & Wise Family Office.

Rockville clients span a wide wealth range. If you're a resident with under $100K of investable assets, Invested Advisory is likely the right first step. If your practice or business has grown to the point where complex estate planning, business exit planning, or family legacy work is on the table, Wealthy & Wise Family Office is designed for that stage.
