Columbia was one of the first planned communities in the United States, founded with an explicit commitment to inclusion and integration. For Korean-American families who moved to Howard County in the last two decades — drawn by Ellicott City's top-ranked schools, the professional job base, and the Korean-American community that had already taken root — Columbia became a natural home.
Our office sits at the center of this community, a short drive from Ellicott City's Lotte Plaza and H-Mart, from Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church and First Korean of MD Presbyterian Church, and from the Ellicott City branch of the Korean Community Service Center. We chose Columbia because this is where our clients live — dual-career households commuting to Baltimore, DC, and Fort Meade, raising children in Howard County schools, and building multigenerational wealth in an area that encourages it.
We’re a small, senior team. When you work with IPM, you work directly with your advisor - not handed off to a junior associate.
