Gaithersburg is where the Korean-American community of upper Montgomery County clusters — closer to more-affordable housing than Bethesda, closer to the biotech corridor than Silver Spring, and still a manageable drive from Rockville's Korean churches and markets. The Gaithersburg branch of the Korean Community Service Center is one of five regional KCSC offices, and H-Mart and Lotte Plaza both operate in the area.
Many Gaithersburg families previously commuted from further out — or started their US lives in apartments closer to DC — and moved here when they were ready to buy a home and put down roots. The schools, Wootton and Quince Orchard, both with significant Korean-American populations, are a major draw.
Every conversation can happen in Korean, English, or both. Meetings, documents, and ongoing communication adapt to the client — not the other way around.
We are a Registered Investment Advisor with a fiduciary obligation to our clients. No product sales, no hidden commissions.
We don't run a standard portfolio for every client. If your situation involves a pending RSU vest, a Korean inheritance, a practice buy-in, or a planned business sale — that goes at the center of your plan, not the footnote.
Clients grow. We grow with them. When a client's needs expand past IPM's scope, we coordinate with our family office affiliate, Wealthy & Wise Family Office.

Gaithersburg is a community in motion — some families are building their first $50K, others are managing $1M+ after a biotech acquisition. If you're in the first group, Invested Advisory is probably a better first fit. If you're in the second, IPM is built for you.
